The Anthony Becht Football Camp is back for another year in the Philadelphia Area. The camp will take place July 11th-13th at Monsignor Bonner High School in Drexel Hill.
The Camp is designed for students entering the 1st through 8th grades for the 2011 school year.
The Anthony Becht Football Camp has had NFL All-Stars like Larry Fitzgerald, Torry Holt, Chad Pennington, and more for past five years.
Camp Philosophy: Anthony Becht Football Camp offers you the chance to enhance your individual skills in a team atmosphere. At the camp, you will learn fundamentals that will make you a championship player on a championship team. Plus, you will learn the importance of leadership, sportsmanship, academics and having fun from Anthony Becht and all the other NFL players. Fundamentals and techniques including proper stance, steps, use of hands, targets and angles are all taught through a specific progression to enable campers to improve all phases of their offensive and defensive play. In addition to the on-the-field practice, lectures will be conducted for the improvement of each individual’s mental aspect of the game.
Info: An experienced camp staff will emphasize fundamentals of position play in a NON-CONTACT camp. No pads will be worn. Campers will be grouped according to grade and age. Each camper is assured of technical one-on-one instruction in all areas of EACH FOOTBALL POSITION ON THE FIELD. Also, since football is recognized as a team sport, each camper will be required to complete several drills within a team concept. Campers will also be trained and tested in speed, strength and agility. Testing allows a football player to maximize the development of his overall ability.
