Most Hated Players in Sports
By Kevin K
Recently Forbes released a list of the most hated people in sports, with Eagles QB Michael Vick as number one. The other day I polled the Philly Phans on our Facebook on who the fans hated the most in sport, here are the top five results (well six, since we had a tie for fifth)
1. Sidney Crosby- It is no wonder why Crosby is the most hated player in Philadelphia. He thinks the sport revolves around him, and has been given the nickname of "CryBaby". Crosby is the most hated player in Philadelphia, even ahead of Kobe Bryant
2. Kobe Bryant- What is there to say about Kobe that hasn't already been said. Philadelphia gets crap from him and the media when they "don't except Kobe as Philadelphian". Sure he went to Lower Merion High School, but he was raised in Italy! In the same breathe Kobe says he is from Philly and then says he doesn't care he isn't from Philly. What is it Kobe? We hate you no matter how many Championships you get.
-. T.O. - I can see why people still hate Terrell Owens. He single handedly ruined the 2005 season, a season in which the Eagles could have won the Super Bowl. His antics ruined the face of the Eagles and then to spit on the face, he signs with the Cowboys.
-. The Cowboys (Romo, Brooking, Austin) - So many that I just had to group the team together. This is really no surprise and even I do not want to waste my breathe with them. One Name, Jessica Simpson. That describes why I hate the Cowboys and the fans. They blamed a female for losing in the Playoffs, idiots.
5. Brett Favre- not a surprise. Favre's antics on whether he is leaving or staying leaves fans disliking him. Not only that, but when Rodgers was drafted, Favre didn't want to mentor him. Jerk.
- Ben Rothlisberger- Rothlisberger wouldn't have made this list last year, but after his off the field antics with three different women, it leads to an absolute dislike for Worthlessberger.
Now the question remains .... who will be added to this list within the next few months. Keep us posted on our facebook: http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/pages/The-Philly-Phans/378086346188?ref=ts
