In a weekend filled with Flyers History and Victory, the Phillies were put on the back-burner. The only thing the Fighten Phillies did this weekend was go to Milwaukee and sweep them. Not only that, but the Phillies also are up four games in the NL East.
That is not all .... Jimmy Rollins is back in the lineup for the Phillies. Yes, Jimmy, who hasn't played since early April, and has yet to play in Philadelphia, Jimmy is back in the lineup tonight for the Phillies batting third.
The Phillies had a great weekend against the Brewers, starting with throwback 70s night on Friday, where they wore the old Powder Blue Jerseys (they should really wear those more). The Phillies pulled on the brooms this weekend against the Brewers.
With Brad Lidge now on the DL, JC Romero and Jose Contrares both had saves this weekend.
Phillies keep there hot streak up tonight in Philadelphia versus the Pittsburgh Pirates.
