Flyered Up!
By Kevin K

The Flyers continue their playoff run tonight in Boston as they look to cut the series down and get back into it.

The Flyers are now well rested after two days off and now have to play tonights game strong and hard. They must outplay Boston at all levels and take the lead early.

Tonight the Flyers may be without Dan Carcillo, who was knocked out early on Friday night in the first period. Carcillo was on the bench for Overtime but didn't come out to play.

A player set to return for the Flyers is goalie Michael Leighton, this time in a backup roll.

The Flyers need to work with the injury woes and get scoring out of all of their offense. Flyers need to score like they did on Friday, but put the pressure on defensively.

Once again the Flyers need to play every game as if it is their last, down 3-1 the pressure is on in Boston. The Flyers need to step it up big time, here is hoping they do !

LETS GO FLYERS!

Notes: Danny Carcillo will, reportedly, play tonight, if not Jon Kalinski will play in his place. Kalinski had two assists and was minus-2 in 10 games earlier this season with the Flyers. He had a goal and two assists in 12 games the year before. Kalinski spent most of this season with the AHL’s Adirondack Phantoms, where he had 10 goals and 28 points in 69 games.

Gagne said the two days between games was good for him to rest his surgically-repaired broken right toe.
