Sources say that Peter Forsberg told Expressen he got an offer from the Flyers on March 2 rejoin the team. Forsberg said he "doesn't know" if he'll join the Flyers in the fall.
Forsberg was drafted sixth overall to the Flyers in 1991 and was traded (along with five other players and two first round picks and $15 Million) for Eric Lindros on June 30, 1992.
Forseberg returned to the Flyers after the NHL Lockout signing a two-year deal. A groin injury and foot injury plagued his return to Philly. He was traded to the Nashville Predators during the second year of his contract with the Flyers for Ryan Parent, Scottie Upshall, and a 1st and 3rd round pick.
Forsberg is 36 and he has recently played for Modo Hockey in Elitserien.
