Rookie Camp began today as Eagles rookies and some veterans showed up to camp.

According to Jeff McLane of the Inquirer, all Eagles rookies except Safety Kurt Coleman (who is attending Ohio State Graduation) showed up to camp today.

There were also notable Veterans who showed up to camp, most notably, the penciled in safeties. Macho Harris, Quintin Demps, and Marlin Jackson are all at rookie camp today trying to get better.

TE Cornelius Ingram is on the field running around and catching passes. Other vets include LB Alex Hall (who is working with the DL), LBs Moise Fokou and Joe Mays, and also Guard Max Jean Gilles. is back and working out.

A player with the best chance of getting cut this season is not at camp, that would be former second round pick Trevor Laws.

Jeff McLane also denied reports that the Eagles are interested in CB Shawn Springs (ESPN and Boston Globe reported the Eagles were interested) earlier today .

Notes: Free agent OG Chester Pitts (microfracture surgery) has a workout date set for July 15, with five teams believed to be interested in attending.Pitts has already visited the Lions, 49ers, and Seahawks, and now the Vikings and Eagles have called to express interest.
