Eagles traded two 3rd Round picks and a 4th round pick to move up to number 13 in the draft to draft, not Earl Thomas but DE Brandon Graham (6 ft 1 inches, 270 lbs).
He recorded 29.5 career sacks and 56 career TFLs for Michigan. In 2008, he led the Big Ten in TFLs (20 in 11 games). In 2009, he posted 26 TFLs and 10.5 sacks in 12 games. He was a First-team 2009 All-Big Ten selection by the coaches and media. He was named to several First-team and Second-team 2009 All America lists by various publications. Brandon Graham was also named MVP of the 2010 Senior Bowl.
In many peoples opinions Graham was not the best DE in the draft, being behind both Jason Pierre-Paul (Giants) and Derrick Morgan (Titans).
Jason Pierre Paul is 6 ft 5 inches, and 270 lbs. Derrick Morgan is 6 ft 4inches and 272 lbs.
It looks as if Safety Taylor Mays may fall to the Eagles in the 2nd Round at number 37.
